Upgrades to enterprise-class Redis and Memcached services protect users from datacenter failures
Santa Clara, June 11, 2013—Garantia Data, provider of the enterprise-class Redis Cloud and Memcached Cloud services, today announced a new Multi-Availability Zone (Multi-AZ) capability that enables an enhanced level of high-availability to its Redis Cloud and Memcached Cloud hosting services on AWS. The feature offers constant dataset replication to a different availability zone (data center) and an instant auto-failover mechanism. Instant auto-failover guarantees that data is served without interruption, in case of a complete or partial outage of the data center hosting the user’s dataset.
Redis Cloud and Memcached Cloud with Multi-AZ ensure the highest availability and reliability for enterprise customers. Redis Cloud offers seamless auto-scalability, so a Redis dataset can grow to any size while supporting all Redis commands. Both Redis Cloud and Memcached Cloud offer a fast storage engine, enable customers to run a dataset on multiple CPUs, and use advanced techniques to maximize performance at any dataset size.
