Software Engineer – Cloud Orchestration

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Redis Labs Cloud Orchestration team.

As a member of the Cloud Orchestration team, you will be responsible for the software behind the fastest NoSQL clusters on earth, supporting more than 200 million ops/sec at sub-millisecond latency with true linear scalability.

  • Develop the next generation of Redis Labs’ cloud orchestration products (RCP) and solutions.
  • Own Redis Labs cloud orchestration products features end-to-end, from design through development, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and create resilient and robust cloud orchestration systems and become a top-tier cloud expert.
  • Improve and maintain the Redis Labs cloud orchestration products infrastructure, enhancing the product’s ability to reliably handle many thousands of databases and keeping customers’ mission-critical data safe.
  • Participate in various open-source projects that Redis Labs maintains and/or contributes to.
  • Work closely with team members, Product, DevOps, Support, Customer Success, and other R&D teams.


  • Three or more years of hands-on backend development experience working on a large-scale production grade system
  • Excellent coding skills with a good understanding of large-scale architecture and design patterns
  • A B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering / equivalent experience
  • Self-direction, ambition, and eagerness to learn new things
  • Passionate about technology (always learning about new tech)


  • Experience with Python, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)
  • Good understanding of cloud concepts and API design
