Global Training Lead

Redis Labs is seeking a Global Training Lead to expand the Redis knowledge of Engineers and Operations individuals around the world.  This is a new position that will spearhead the development and dissemination of training materials and services for both Redis and Redis Labs Enterprise products.  You will be part of a larger technical team that is responsible for helping enterprises adopt Redis and Redis Labs technologies in their solutions.  You will play a key role in two primary areas:

  1. Expanding the fundamental Redis knowledge engineers and developers need to build amazing solutions with Redis
  2. Educating the teams and organizations responsible for deploying Redis at scale for mission critical applications


  • Own the continued development, expansion and dissemination of Redis and Redis Labs training content and materials, working closely with other Redis Labs teams
  • Deliver onsite training to Redis Labs customers and community around the globe
  • Deliver public training at events around the globe, including meet-ups, training days and conferences
  • Educate and train other Redis Labs employees


  • This position requires a significant amount of travel (up to 75%) with limited notice—flexibility is a must
  • Previous experience building and delivering training courses and/or materials to engineering or IT/Operations teams
  • Technical proficiency with hands-on experience in development or engineering, preferably with a prior role in engineering or technical consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology related field, or other degree with equivalent technical experience
  • Prior experience with other database technologies—either development or operational management and deployment
  • Experience with public speaking to large audiences is a plus
