Channel Sales Manager- EMEA

Redis Labs is seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to win and expand relationships with strategic channel partners while achieving partner sales objectives.

You will report to the Global VP of Channel Sales and Alliances, and may have direct report staff within specific partner accounts assigned over time.


Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
  • Enlist the support of sales, technical, service and management resources as needed to make the partnership successful
  • Meet sales targets and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
  •  Proactively drive a joint-partner planning process in which mutual performance objectives, sales targets and critical milestones are defined
  • Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner sales, marketing and technology needs on an a regular basis
  • Manage a sales pipeline through the coordination of partner’s and Redis Labs’ field sales teams
  • Own and drive Redis Labs’ participation in appropriate partner events and conferences
  • Facilitate and manage partner’s active participation in Redis Labs events globally

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited 4-year university
  • Proven track record of enabling strategic revenue-producing channel partnerships
  • 5-10 years of channel and/or sales experience in a B2B software environment
  •  Knowledge of database technologies; NoSQL familiarity is a plus but not a requirement
  • Proficiency in business tools including Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Salesforce.com
  • Able to achieve assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts
  • Must meet assigned strategic, non-revenue objectives
  • Able to create and own strategic partner account plans
  • Must maintain high level of partner satisfaction with Redis Labs
  • A willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging startup environment where you will be asked to work in both structured and unstructured situations
  • This position requires occasional travel
