Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you will develop and maintain our customer-facing Cloud API platform that manages thousands of databases on various cloud providers. You will be responsible for the design and development of new APIs and functionalities for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design robust and highly scalable APIs using the CQRS pattern.
• Own Redis Labs Cloud API features end-to-end, from design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, Customer success, and R&D team members.
• Research new technologies and integrate them into Redis Labs’ platforms.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering / equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience using Java / C# / Kotlin / Scala.
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with web server development and REST APIs.
• Good technical skills with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious person, passionate about technologies, team player.
