I love my job. As a Customer Advocacy Manager, I get to hear first-hand accounts from the people we impact, including challenges they’ve had to overcome, their innovative implementations and the success they’ve achieved with our product. But working in the customer advocacy field can be volatile. To be frank, the success of my position is largely dependent on the happiness of our customers. Technically, everyone’s job here is dependent on our customers’ success. But my role feels the direct impact, whether positive or negative, of each customer experience. I can’t share a customer’s achievements (a key part of my job) if they haven’t had success with our products.
When we were named a January 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Operational Database Management Systems (OPDBMS), I quickly realized how lucky I am to work with the Redis developer community.
